These terms & conditions apply to all items ordered from Palmaira Sandals Australia and by placing your order you agree to be bound by them. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time-to-time without notice to you. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received. Once your order has been confirmed, we will not be able to make any changes to the terms that apply to that order.

Our products

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of the sandals that appear on our website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published, including prices and promotions.

All our sandals are sold in EURO sizes, with the AU size provided as a guide only. Click here for our size guide. If you have any queries about sizing, please contact us prior to purchasing.

Purchase of products

When you place an order on our website, we will send you an email to the email address provided by you during the checkout process.  Our acceptance of your order does not take place until we send you a confirmation email.

Goods are subject to availability. If an item you have ordered becomes out of stock before we shall notify you as soon as possible.

If there are any problems with your order we shall contact you. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.

Discontinued and minor faults purchases can not be refunded or exchanged.

Note. We are unable to amend your order once it has been placed online.

All pre-orders to be paid in full. The approximate shipping time will be displayed on the product description. If you have purchased multiple items, anything in stock will be sent prior to the pre-order unless the pre-order is due within 7 days. Refunds will not be accepted until the item has got through the returns process. 

All our sandals are handmade and all times displayed are approximate only. 

Price and payment

We only accept payment via SHOPIFY. Full payment for your purchase must be made before we can dispatch your order.

The prices shown on our website include any GST (or similar sales tax) at the prevailing rate for which we are responsible as the seller. The amount you pay will be the price indicated plus any delivery charges.


If the goods that you order are in stock at the time when your order is accepted then we will aim to dispatch your order within a maximum 5 working days.  We aim to dispatch most orders on the next working day.

Please note that we do not dispatch orders on Saturdays or Sundays.


The delivery cost is now a Flat Rate Service $14 AUSTRALIA POST EXPRESS SERVICE

We reserve the right to change our delivery costs at any time without notice to you.

The shipping cost added to your order at the time of checkout does not include possible taxes and duties, which may be applied by customs.

The responsibility for any customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may be imposed, will rest with the customer.

Please note that with Australian export regulations, we are required to declare the exact value of all items and identify the order as dutiable merchandise.

Please contact your local Customs Office for further information or estimations on these costs.

Returns / Refunds

We are happy to refund within 60 days of purchase. If we are running a promotion these are eligible for a refund. Minor Imperfections are not eligible. 

We know you will be eager to try your new FOOTCANDY on but please take care to ensure you keep them in good condition & with the original packaging in the event you may want to return or exchange your Palmaira's. Please ensure they are re-packed the way they arrived & with care in order to maintain the original shape. If they are not resalable or received by Palmaira Sandals Australia in the original condition they will not be accepted.

You may return your product to Palmaira Sandals Australia ONLY for a full refund of the purchase price (excluding delivery costs). Products must be returned to us within 60 days of purchase with completed returns slip.

Please note that all returns are delivered to our logistics warehouse & are then forwarded to Palmaira for processing. Therefore please expect a 2-3 day delay between the time your tracking information says "Delivered" and your return being processed. 

Sandals must be returned in an unworn state with tags.

All of our sandals are covered by a 3 month warranty. Any damage to the sandals outside of the warranty period will not be deemed as a manufacturing fault.

We can only refund the credit card originally used for payment.

For goods received that are faulty and unworn, please email us at stating the order number and nature of the problem.

We will only refund postage costs up to the amount of a 3kg satchel-$13.80



We are happy to exchange within 60 days of purchase on full price items only. If we are running a promotion these are eligible for an exchange. Minor Imperfections are not eligible. 

Returned items must be returned to us unworn and in their original condition with tags.

Please note Palmaira Sandals Australia will cover the cost of ONE exchange only per order. Any additional exchanges per order must be paid for by the customer. 

Unless we have sent you damaged or faulty goods we regret that delivery costs cannot be refunded to you.

We recommend that you return your sandals via a guaranteed delivery service, and/or obtain a proof of postage as we cannot be held liable for any goods lost in transit to us. The items are your responsibility until they reach us.


Please note: Due to a high volume of orders we receive daily, we are unable to manually put aside exchange.

On receipt of goods you will be notified via email with a credit note in the form of a Gift Card to the value of the original price paid.

Minor Imperfections

Please choose carefully when purchasing from our 'Minor Imperfections' collection, as they are not eligible for a refund or exchange.

All our sandals are lovingly handmade. This sometimes results in a few flaws, or imperfections in the leather.

Leather is a natural product and as such, bares all hallmarks of its origin. Unique and individual markings may appear on a hide and should not be considered as defects. Instead they give the leather a unique identity.

Other reasons for imperfections could include, but not limited to, glue marks or scratches. As such these sandals are sold at a discounted price.

Palmaira Sandals Australia eGift Card

When purchasing an eGift card on Palmaira Sandals Australia issue the eGift Card to the email provided by the customer placing the order. Palmaira Sandals Australia DO NOT issue paper copies.

eGift cards are treated as cash and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. eGift cards may only be used for purchase online at and cannot be returned or exchanged for cash.

Palmaira Sandals Australia eGift cards CANNOT be redeemed outside of Australia.

No change is given and any balance that remains on the card can be used in whole or part against future purchases at Palmaira Sandals Australia.

eGift cards expire 12 months after purchase. Any balance that remains on the eGift card after expiry will not be available for use, except as required by law. These terms and conditions may be amended by Palmaira Sandals Australia from time to time.




We advise that you take precautions by protecting your nubuck Palmaira's with a recommended scotch guard. 

The popular on-trend Espadrilles are sandals that come with a raised platform and are offered in two different styles – slingback & anklestrap.

Palmaira Espadrilles are our modern take on the Avarca, featuring a chunky non-flexible sole. 

These were specifically designed for maximum fabulousness, truly unique and eye catching! These are however a fashion sandal for that wow factor but don’t necessarily have the same comfort as a traditional Avarca.

Please be aware that our Wedge sandals are not designed to be as hard-wearing as our flat sandals.

The cork wedge is a natural and porous material and can be prone to damage.

The neon napa leathers which include the Neon Orange are very delicate and prone to scuffing. The leather cannot be cleaned with water or exposed to water as the colour will run.



  • Each Discount will be subject to specific terms & conditions specified at the time the discount is issued (including the length of time to use the code) in addition to those mentioned in these Terms of Use.
  • There are two ways of receiving a promo code:
    • We may send one to you via email for promotional use
    • From time to time, we may offer discounts on the Palmaira Sandals Australia Website & social media (Instagram & Facebook) that you can apply at checkout in order to receive a specific discount from us.
  • Only one discount can be used against an order at any one time.
  • A discount can't be applied to an order after that order has been placed.
  • If the discount has expired, you won’t be able use it.

Surprise Draw Winner

  • The surprise draw is open to residents of Australia, except employees of Palmaira Sandals Australia, and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the company.
  • A purchase is necessary to be eligible for the surprise draw.
  • The surprise draw may take place at random, at any time, without notice.
  • The winner or winners are selected at random.
  • When purchasing, you are indicating to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • Palmaira Sandals Australia reserves the rights to cancel or amend the prize and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the prize will be notified to customers as soon as possible.
  • The prize is selected at random and cannot be chosen prior by the winner.
  • The prize will be added to the delivery of the customer’s order.
  • The surprise winner may return their prize within 14 days from receipt of goods, by emailing

Terms and Conditions - Klarnarama

  1. These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the Klarnarama gift card promotion.
  2. The Klarnarama offer commences at 00:00 AEDT on 11 March 2021 and ends at 23:59 AEDT on 16 March 2021 (Promotion Period).
  3. Eligible customers will receive a gift card after their purchase at a participating retailer.


  1. To be eligible to receive the gift card with purchase, customers must take the following steps during the Promotion Period:
  2. Make a purchase online of $60 or more in a single transaction using Klarna to checkout at one of the participating online retailers.
  3. Purchases made in-store using the Klarna app one-time card, are not eligible for this offer.
  4. You must be an Australian resident and at least 18 years old to be eligible for a gift card. Employees of Klarna, associated agencies, and each of their immediate family members are not eligible for this offer. The offer:

General Rules

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrants who fail to follow the rules set out in these Terms and Conditions, are suspected of engaging in fraud, or any entrant who makes any misrepresentation relating to the offer.

The Promoter is not responsible for any technical failures, malfunctions, problems with or damage to equipment (including but not limited to wireless devices, websites, wireless networks, servers, computer hardware or software) during the Promotion Period or as a result of you participating in the offer.
  3. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend or cut short the offer should any attempt be made to deliberately undermine, damage or destroy it.

Liability and Release

  1. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth)  or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (Consumer Guarantees).
  2. Except for the Promoter’s liability under a Consumer Guarantee, in no event will the Promoter’s liability for all claims and losses arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or the offer exceed $20.
  3. The offer is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook and/or Instagram and the Prize Winners fully release Facebook and/or Instagram from any liability.

Personal Information

  1. Any personal information submitted to the Promoters will be held in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). The Promoter may disclose personal information of entrants to suppliers and affiliates in order to administer or otherwise run the offer.
  2. Unless you have already indicated to us that you do not wish to receive marketing material from Klarna, personal information collected during the Promotion Period may be used for direct marketing purposes.
