It was to my boss at the time... Lisa. I walked in to the office and declared that my sister-in-law and I had just spent our life savings on buying... well 30 pairs of sandals (ok it seemed like a huge investment at the time and a large chunk of money out of our weekly lambrini fund).
Lisa pulled out a pair of Azulon blue ( I remember it well) gave them the once over and declared she liked them. My heart nearly burst out my chest... 'someone likes them'. Great, I had sold my first pair of Palmairas. Not only that but Lisa was taking another couple of pairs to show her friends. Yippee.
And so it began!
